M30 motorway (Hungary)

The M30 motorway is a Hungarian motorway connecting the city of Miskolc with the M3 motorway, and ultimately, Budapest. It primarily serves to improve accessibility to Miskolc and the surrounding northeastern region of Hungary. The motorway is part of the European route E71. Construction of the M30 involved complex engineering solutions due to the varied terrain and the need to minimize environmental impact. Significant sections of the motorway have been funded through EU cohesion funds. The motorway has played a key role in facilitating economic development and tourism in the area, reducing travel times and improving connectivity.
