Joe Moody (rugby union)

Joe Moody (born 18 September 1988) is a New Zealand rugby union player who plays prop for the Crusaders in Super Rugby and Canterbury in the National Provincial Championship. He is also a member of the New Zealand national team, the All Blacks.

Moody made his debut for Canterbury in 2011 and for the Crusaders in 2013. He earned his first cap for the All Blacks in 2014 against Australia. Known for his scrummaging prowess and physicality around the field, Moody has become a key member of both the Crusaders and All Blacks forward packs. He was a member of the All Blacks squad that won the 2015 Rugby World Cup. He is recognized for his distinctive beard and strong work ethic.
