Erin O'Brien (actress)

Erin O'Brien (born January 17, 1934, Los Angeles, California, died March 18, 2021, Seattle, Washington) was an American actress and singer, primarily active in film and television during the 1950s and 1960s.

O'Brien began her career as a singer with bandleader Lawrence Welk. She transitioned into acting, appearing in numerous television series, including "Wagon Train," "The Loretta Young Show," "Bat Masterson," "Perry Mason," "The Real McCoys," and "77 Sunset Strip." She also had a recurring role as Marian Dell on the television series "The Gale Storm Show."

Her film credits include roles in "The High and the Mighty" (1954), "Francis in the Navy" (1955), "Onionhead" (1958), and "Operation Petticoat" (1959).

O'Brien was married to producer and director Gene Nelson from 1962 until his death in 1996.
