Eric Scott (actor)

Eric Scott (born Eric Scott Pomerance, October 20, 1958) is an American actor best known for his role as Eldest son, Ben Walton, on the CBS television series The Waltons.

Scott began his acting career in commercials before landing the role on The Waltons, which aired from 1972 to 1981 and spawned several television movies. He appeared in the majority of episodes throughout the series' run.

After The Waltons, Scott largely retired from acting to pursue other ventures, including a career in the parcel delivery business. He has, however, reprised his role as Ben Walton in numerous Waltons reunion movies and television specials.

Scott has also worked behind the scenes in the entertainment industry. He resides in Southern California.
