Curses (Future of the Left album)

Curses is the fourth studio album by Welsh noise rock band Future of the Left, released on May 13, 2013, through Xtra Mile Recordings. It followed their previous album, The Plot Against Common Sense.

The album was produced by Steve Albini, with whom the band had previously worked on their debut album Curses All Future Generations. It features a darker, more abrasive sound than some of their previous work, exploring themes of paranoia, anxiety, and disillusionment. The band funded the album through a PledgeMusic campaign, offering fans exclusive content and experiences.

Singles released from the album included "Sycamore Trees" and "The Male Gaze". The album received generally positive reviews, with critics praising its intensity, songwriting, and Albini's production. Notable tracks include "Failed Olympic Bid," "Robocop 4 - Fuck Off Robocop," and "How To Stop Worrying And Love The P Bomb."
