Eric Red
Eric Red is an American screenwriter and film director, primarily known for his work in the horror and thriller genres. He frequently incorporates elements of suspense, violence, and psychological depth into his storytelling.
Red began his career as a screenwriter, gaining significant recognition for his screenplay for the 1986 film The Hitcher, a tense road-thriller. He also wrote the screenplays for films such as Near Dark (1987), a vampire film directed by Kathryn Bigelow, and Cohen and Tate (1989), a crime thriller which he also directed.
In addition to screenwriting, Red has directed several of his own screenplays, including Body Parts (1991), a horror film, and Bad Moon (1996), a werewolf film. He has also written and directed episodes of television shows. He continues to work in the film industry, writing and directing projects in the thriller and horror genres.
