Elk Cove (Oregon)
Elk Cove Vineyards is a family-owned winery located in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA of Oregon's Willamette Valley. Founded in 1974 by Pat and Joe Campbell, Elk Cove is one of the pioneering wineries in the region and is known for its production of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling, and other cool-climate varietals.
The winery encompasses several vineyard sites across the northern Willamette Valley, each contributing unique characteristics to the finished wines. Elk Cove focuses on sustainable farming practices and minimal intervention winemaking techniques, aiming to showcase the terroir of the region. The Campbell family remains actively involved in the operation of the winery, with the second generation now leading the business.
