El Diario (Argentina)
El Diario was a prominent Argentine daily newspaper published in Paraná, the capital city of Entre Ríos Province. Founded in 1914, it served as a key regional news source for over a century, covering local, provincial, national, and international news. El Diario was known for its independent editorial stance and comprehensive coverage of political, economic, social, and cultural events. Throughout its history, it played a significant role in shaping public opinion within the Entre Ríos region. The newspaper ceased publication in the 2010s. More specifically, the print edition was suspended in 2017, and while there were attempts to maintain an online presence, these proved unsustainable. Its closure marked the end of a long and important chapter in Argentine journalism.
