Edward Mann (Australian politician)

Edward Mann (1880 – 1947) was an Australian politician who served as a member of the House of Representatives for the United Australia Party (UAP) from 1931 to 1943, representing the Division of Perth in Western Australia.

Mann was born in Adelaide, South Australia. Prior to entering politics, he worked in various business pursuits.

In the 1931 federal election, Mann successfully contested the Division of Perth, defeating the incumbent Labor member, Walter Nairn. He was re-elected in 1934, 1937, and 1940. During his time in Parliament, he was involved in various committees and debates, primarily focusing on issues related to Western Australia, trade, and economic policy.

Mann's parliamentary career ended when he was defeated by Labor candidate Tom Burke in the 1943 federal election. He did not return to federal politics. He died in 1947.
