Eddie Thomas (Australian footballer)

Eddie Thomas was an Australian rules footballer who played for Fitzroy and Richmond in the Victorian Football League (VFL) during the 1930s.

Thomas, a defender, started his VFL career at Fitzroy in 1932. He spent four seasons with the club, playing a total of 56 games. In 1936, Thomas crossed to Richmond. He added another 15 games to his VFL tally with the Tigers before leaving at the end of the 1937 season. He was known as a reliable and consistent player in his era.
