Dwyfor Meirionnydd (UK Parliament constituency)

Dwyfor Meirionnydd is a constituency in Wales represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament. It was created in 2010, primarily from parts of the former Caernarfon and Meirionnydd Nant Conwy constituencies.

The constituency covers a geographically diverse area of north-west Wales, including parts of Gwynedd. It encompasses the Llŷn Peninsula (Welsh: Pen Llŷn, the Dwyfor area), and the Meirionnydd area, known for its mountainous scenery, including Snowdonia National Park. Key towns and villages within the constituency include Porthmadog, Bala, Dolgellau, Criccieth, Harlech, and Tywyn.

Historically, the area has been a stronghold for Plaid Cymru, the Welsh nationalist party. The seat's predecessor constituencies were consistently won by Plaid Cymru Members of Parliament. Since its creation, Dwyfor Meirionnydd has been represented by Plaid Cymru.
