Donald Sanford (athlete)
Donald Sanford (born February 5, 1987, in Los Angeles, California) is an American-Israeli track and field athlete who specializes in the 400 meters. He competed for Israel in the 2012 London Olympics, the 2016 Rio Olympics, and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Sanford gained Israeli citizenship in 2009 and began representing Israel internationally shortly thereafter. He has represented Israel at numerous international competitions, including the European Championships, the World Championships, and the European Team Championships.
His personal best in the 400 meters is 45.04 seconds, achieved in 2012. He has won several Israeli national championships in the 400 meters. He is also part of the Israeli national 4x400 meter relay team.
