Diversity (dance troupe)

Diversity is a British street dance troupe formed in 2007, best known for winning the third series of Britain's Got Talent in 2009, beating Susan Boyle in the final. The group consists primarily of members from the Essex and London areas of England.

Core members include Ashley Banjo (choreographer and leader), Jordan Banjo, Sam Craske, Mitchell Craske, Perri Kiely, and Starr Kiely. The group is noted for its dynamic and innovative routines, often incorporating acrobatics, visual storytelling, and social commentary into their performances.

Following their Britain's Got Talent win, Diversity has embarked on several successful nationwide tours, performed internationally, and participated in various television programs and charitable endeavors. Ashley Banjo has also become a prominent figure in British television, acting as a judge on dance competition shows.

Diversity's performances have sometimes generated controversy, particularly a Black Lives Matter-inspired routine on Britain's Got Talent in 2020, which drew a significant number of complaints but was ultimately defended by ITV and Ofcom. The group continues to perform and advocate for social justice through their art.
