Directorate General of Civil Aviation (Ecuador)

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (Ecuador) (Spanish: Dirección General de Aviación Civil, DGAC) is the civil aviation authority of Ecuador. It is responsible for regulating air transport, overseeing aviation safety and security, and managing Ecuador's airspace. The DGAC sets the standards for air navigation, airport operations, and the licensing of aviation personnel. It also investigates aviation accidents and incidents within Ecuador's jurisdiction. The DGAC operates under the Ministry of Transport and Public Works of Ecuador. Its headquarters are located in Quito.
