Dean Cain

Dean Cain (born Dean George Tanaka; July 31, 1966) is an American actor, producer, television presenter, and writer. He is best known for his portrayal of Clark Kent/Superman in the television series Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman (1993–1997).

Cain's career began as a football player; he signed with the Buffalo Bills in 1988 but a knee injury prematurely ended his athletic career. He then turned to acting, appearing in commercials and television shows before landing the role of Superman.

Following Lois & Clark, Cain has appeared in numerous films and television series, often in guest roles or as a supporting character. He has also hosted television shows such as Ripley's Believe It or Not!. Beyond acting and hosting, Cain has been involved in producing and writing for both film and television.
