David McNiven (footballer, born 1978)

David McNiven (born 25 May 1978) is a Scottish former professional footballer.

McNiven was a midfielder who began his career with Partick Thistle, making his debut in 1996. He remained with the club for several seasons, experiencing both promotion and relegation. He then joined Queen of the South, where he also spent a considerable period. Following his time at Queen of the South, McNiven played for several other Scottish clubs, including Ayr United and Stranraer. Details regarding his career after that period are more limited.
