David Henderson (Canadian politician)
David Henderson (born March 12, 1841, in Acton, Upper Canada; died April 24, 1922, in Acton, Ontario) was a Canadian politician.
Henderson was a businessman and farmer before entering politics. He served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Halton from 1888 to 1917. He was a Conservative and consistently re-elected for several terms.
In Parliament, Henderson was known for his advocacy for agricultural interests and for representing the concerns of his constituents in Halton. He was a loyal supporter of the Conservative Party and often participated in debates on economic and social policy.
He retired from federal politics in 1917. David Henderson was a prominent figure in Halton County, and his long tenure in the House of Commons reflected the confidence his constituents placed in him.
