Dave Lawson (musician)

Dave Lawson is a British keyboardist, composer, and vocalist, primarily known for his work in progressive rock bands of the 1970s. He is best known as a member of Greenslade, a band he joined in 1973, replacing Dave Greenslade's initial line-up. Prior to Greenslade, Lawson was a member of Web, a jazz-rock band formed in the late 1960s, which later evolved into Samurai.

Lawson's keyboard playing is characterized by a blend of classical influences and progressive rock sensibilities. He contributed significantly to Greenslade's unique sound, particularly his ability to create complex arrangements and textures. After Greenslade's breakup, he has continued to be involved in music, although with a lower profile. He has also been involved in various session work and musical projects.
