Hawkeye (miniseries)

Hawkeye is an American television miniseries created by Jonathan Igla for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. The series follows Clint Barton / Hawkeye as he teams up with Kate Bishop, a young archer he mentors, to confront enemies from his past during his time as Ronin.

Jeremy Renner reprises his role as Clint Barton, with Hailee Steinfeld starring as Kate Bishop. The series also features Vera Farmiga, Florence Pugh, Tony Dalton, Fra Fee, Alaqua Cox, and Vincent D'Onofrio.

Hawkeye consists of six episodes, released weekly from November 24 to December 22, 2021. The series is part of Phase Four of the MCU.

The plot revolves around Clint Barton's desire to spend Christmas with his family, complicated by the reemergence of enemies he made while operating as the vigilante Ronin after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Kate Bishop, inspired by Hawkeye and possessing exceptional archery skills, becomes embroiled in Clint's past and they are forced to work together to protect themselves from various threats. Key storylines involve the Tracksuit Mafia, Maya Lopez (Echo), and the return of Wilson Fisk / Kingpin.
