Darrell May (ice hockey)

Darrell May (born May 28, 1971) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender.

May played major junior hockey in the Western Hockey League (WHL) with the Prince Albert Raiders and the Saskatoon Blades. He was drafted by the New York Rangers in the 12th round, 251st overall, in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft.

May played professionally from 1993 to 2004. He primarily played in the minor leagues, including the ECHL, IHL, and AHL. He played for teams such as the Charlotte Checkers, Richmond Renegades, Cleveland Lumberjacks, Utah Grizzlies, Lowell Lock Monsters, and Hartford Wolf Pack.

Although drafted by the New York Rangers, May never played in the National Hockey League (NHL). After retiring from professional hockey, May transitioned to a career outside of sports. His specific post-hockey career details are not widely publicized.
