Dan Dailey (glass artist)

Dan Dailey (born 1947) is an American studio glass artist and educator. He is renowned for his figurative sculptures and vessels created primarily in glass, often incorporating mixed media elements such as metal and enamel.

Dailey received his BFA from the Philadelphia College of Art in 1969 and his MFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1972. His work explores themes of narrative, humor, and social commentary, often using archetypal characters and scenarios. He is known for his mastery of various glass techniques, including lampworking, blowing, casting, and engraving.
