Mark Davies (footballer, born 1988)
Mark Davies (born February 2, 1988) is an English former professional footballer. He primarily played as a midfielder.
Davies began his professional career with Wolverhampton Wanderers, making his debut in 2005. While at Wolves, he had loan spells at Hereford United and Stockport County.
In 2009, Davies signed for Brighton & Hove Albion. He established himself as a key player for the Seagulls, contributing significantly to their League One title win in the 2010–11 season. He remained with Brighton until 2013.
Following his time at Brighton, Davies joined Blackpool in the Championship. He spent two seasons with Blackpool before being released.
Subsequently, Davies had spells with Bradford City and Southport. His career was significantly impacted by injuries, which ultimately led to his retirement from professional football.
