Marvel (footballer)

Marvelous Nakamba, commonly known as Marvel, is a Zimbabwean professional footballer who plays as a central midfielder for Luton Town in the English Premier League and the Zimbabwe national team.

Nakamba began his professional career in Zimbabwe with Bantu Rovers before moving to Europe. He played for AS Nancy in France, Vitesse in the Netherlands, and Club Brugge in Belgium before joining Aston Villa in the English Premier League in 2019. During his time at Aston Villa, he became known for his tenacious tackling and ball-winning abilities.

In January 2023, Nakamba joined Luton Town on loan. His impressive performances helped Luton Town gain promotion to the Premier League. Following the successful loan spell, Nakamba signed a permanent contract with Luton Town.

At the international level, Nakamba is a regular for the Zimbabwe national team, having represented his country in numerous competitions, including the Africa Cup of Nations. He is considered a key player for the Warriors.
