Da-ice
Da-ice is a Japanese vocal and dance group consisting of five members: Yudai Ohno, Toru Iwaoka, Taiki Kudo, Sota Hanamura, and Hayate Wada. Formed in 2011, they are known for their polished choreography, vocal harmonies, and diverse musical styles ranging from pop and R&B to electronic dance music.
The group debuted independently and gained a strong following through live performances and online presence before signing with Universal Music Japan's Universal Sigma label. Their music has been featured in various commercials, dramas, and anime series, contributing to their growing popularity. Da-ice regularly releases singles and albums, tours extensively within Japan, and has also performed internationally. Their name, Da-ice, is a portmanteau of "dice" (referring to the five members) and "dance," symbolizing their ambition to create diverse and unpredictable music, similar to the different outcomes rolled from a die. The "a" in Da-ice is intentionally stylized in lowercase.
