Craig Johnston (politician)

Craig Johnston is an Australian politician who served as a member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly. He represented the electorate of Bulimba for the Liberal National Party (LNP) from 2012 to 2015.

Johnston defeated sitting Labor MP Di Farmer in the 2012 Queensland state election, benefiting from a statewide swing against the Labor government. During his time in parliament, he served on various parliamentary committees.

In the 2015 Queensland state election, Johnston was defeated by Di Farmer, regaining the seat for the Labor Party. Since leaving parliament, Johnston has remained involved in community activities. His political stances generally aligned with the LNP's platform of fiscal conservatism and limited government intervention.
