Civic (band)

Civic is an Australian punk rock band formed in Melbourne in 2018. The band is known for its high-energy live performances and raw, aggressive sound, drawing comparisons to acts like Radio Birdman, The Saints, and early Wire.

Civic consists of vocalist Jim McCullough, guitarists Lewis Hodgson and Kirin J Callinan, bassist Roland Gubbels, and drummer Matt Blach.

The band released its debut EP, New Vietnam, in 2018, followed by a series of singles. Their debut full-length album, Future Forecast, was released in 2021 and garnered critical acclaim for its intense energy and socially conscious lyrics. They have toured extensively, both in Australia and internationally. Their second album, Taken By Force, was released in 2023.
