André Schneider (businessman)

André Schneider is a Swiss businessman and academic leader, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Geneva Airport (Aéroport International de Genève). He assumed this role in July 2016.

Prior to his position at Geneva Airport, Schneider held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Resources and Infrastructure at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), one of Switzerland's leading universities. In this role, he was responsible for the management of the EPFL's infrastructure, finances, human resources, and IT services.

Schneider holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. He also has a Master's degree in Business Administration from the same university. His background combines business acumen with an understanding of academic and political environments.
