Chrysler Valiant (VG)

The Chrysler Valiant (VG) series was a range of automobiles produced by Chrysler Australia from April 1970 to March 1971. It represented the third and final iteration of the Australian-designed Valiant series following the VF model. The VG continued the Valiant's tradition of offering a robust and practical family car, available in sedan, wagon, hardtop, and utility (ute) body styles.

Key improvements and changes from the previous VF model included a redesigned front fascia, featuring a more prominent and aggressive grille, and revised taillights. Interior enhancements were also implemented, offering increased comfort and updated styling.

Engine options typically included a range of inline six-cylinder engines, such as the 215 cu in (3.5 L) and 245 cu in (4.0 L) versions, as well as a V8 engine for performance-oriented models. Transmission choices generally consisted of a three-speed manual or a three-speed automatic.
