Christian Wolff (actor)

Christian Wolff (born March 11, 1938, in Berlin, Germany; died February 7, 2014, in Mettmann, Germany) was a German actor best known for his work in television dramas and films.

Wolff began his acting career in the 1950s and quickly gained popularity as a leading man in various German film productions. He was particularly known for his roles in crime dramas and family-oriented series.

One of his most prominent and long-running roles was as chief detective Thomas Wiegand in the German crime television series Soko 5113 (later known as SOKO München). He portrayed this character from 1978 until 2003, becoming a recognizable figure in German television.

Throughout his career, Wolff appeared in numerous other television shows and films, including Forsthaus Falkenau and Der Alte. He was also involved in theatre productions.

His work contributed significantly to the landscape of German television entertainment for several decades. His portrayal of law enforcement figures, in particular, cemented his status as a popular and respected actor.

Following his departure from Soko 5113, Wolff remained relatively active in television, though less frequently than in previous years. He passed away in 2014.
