Christensenia is a genus of ferns belonging to the family Marattiaceae. It contains a single species, Christensenia aesculifolia. This fern is characterized by its large, palmate leaves, resembling those of a horse chestnut (Aesculus) tree, hence the specific epithet aesculifolia. It typically grows in moist, shaded environments within tropical rainforests. The plant can be found both terrestrially and as an epiphyte.
