Chris Warren (American football)
Chris Warren (born March 26, 1967) is a former American football running back who played in the National Football League (NFL) for eight seasons, primarily with the Seattle Seahawks.
Warren played college football at Ferrum College and the University of Virginia. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fourth round of the 1990 NFL Draft.
During his time with the Seahawks (1990-1997), Warren was a key component of their offense. He rushed for over 1,000 yards in four seasons (1992-1995) and was selected to three Pro Bowls (1993, 1994, 1995). He was known for his powerful running style and ability to break tackles.
After his tenure with the Seahawks, Warren played one season for the Dallas Cowboys in 1998 before retiring. He finished his NFL career with 6,706 rushing yards and 31 touchdowns.
