Chris Harper (cyclist)

Chris Harper (born 10 November 1994) is an Australian professional road cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam Jayco AlUla.

Harper's career highlights include overall victory in the 2019 Tour de Savoie Mont Blanc, a stage win and overall victory in the 2019 International Tour of Rhodes, and winning the 2021 Santos Festival of Cycling. He has also achieved strong performances in stage races such as the Herald Sun Tour and Tour Down Under. Prior to turning professional, he was a successful amateur cyclist.

He signed with Jumbo-Visma (later Visma–Lease a Bike) for the 2020 season after a successful stint with continental teams. He joined BikeExchange–Jayco (now Jayco AlUla) in 2022. Harper is primarily a climbing specialist and typically supports team leaders in mountainous races.
