Chris Egan (footballer)
Chris Egan is an Australian rules footballer who played for the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Egan was drafted by Collingwood with pick #35 in the 2002 AFL Draft. He made his AFL debut in 2003. Predominantly a midfielder, Egan was known for his tackling ability and contested ball winning. He struggled to maintain a consistent spot in Collingwood's senior side throughout his career, often playing for their Victorian Football League (VFL) affiliate team.
Egan was delisted by Collingwood at the end of the 2008 season. After being delisted, he continued to play football at a local level. Information on his post-AFL career is limited.
