Chris Carr (basketball)

Chris Carr (born March 12, 1974) is an American former professional basketball player. A 6'5" shooting guard, he was selected by the Phoenix Suns in the second round (56th overall) of the 1995 NBA draft.

Carr played college basketball for Southern Illinois University.

During his NBA career, Carr played for the Phoenix Suns (1995-1996), Minnesota Timberwolves (1996-1999), New Jersey Nets (1999-2000), Golden State Warriors (2000-2001), Cleveland Cavaliers (2001-2003), and Boston Celtics (2003).

He was known for his athleticism and outside shooting ability. He participated in the 1997 NBA Slam Dunk Contest. Carr also served as a player representative for the NBA Players Association during his time in the league.

After his NBA career, Carr worked in various basketball-related roles, including broadcasting and coaching.
