Charles King (professor of international affairs)

Charles King is an American academic and professor of international affairs and government at Georgetown University. He is known for his expertise in nationalism, ethnic conflict, post-communism, and the political development of the Black Sea region.

King received his Ph.D. from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar. Prior to joining Georgetown, he taught at Princeton University. He has held fellowships from the Social Science Research Council, the Fulbright Program, and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars.
