Charles Hall (Lincolnshire MP)

Charles Hall (1778 – 1862) was a British politician who served as a Member of Parliament (MP) for Westbury from 1826 to 1830, and later for Lincolnshire North from 1837 to 1847. He was the son of Charles Hall, Canon of Christ Church, Oxford, and his wife Ann. Educated at Eton College and Christ Church, Oxford, Hall was called to the bar at Lincoln's Inn in 1806.

His parliamentary career spanned two distinct periods, separated by several years. In his early tenure representing Westbury, Hall aligned loosely with the Tory party. Following the passage of the Reform Act 1832, he secured election for the northern division of Lincolnshire. As an MP for Lincolnshire North, Hall largely supported agricultural interests. He did not stand for re-election in 1847.

Hall resided at Kettlethorpe Hall in Lincolnshire. He married Anna Eliza, daughter of Sir William Gregory, in 1804. They had children, including Charles Henry Hall, who also served as a clergyman.
