Cassadaga (film)
Cassadaga is a 2011 American horror film directed by Anthony DiBlasi. It stars Kelen Coleman, Kevin Alejandro, Louise Fletcher, and Amy LoCicero. The film follows a deaf artist who, after participating in a séance, is haunted by the spirit of a murdered woman.
The plot centers around Lily Morel (Coleman), a deaf art teacher still grieving the death of her younger sister. Seeking solace, she attends a spiritualist séance in the town of Cassadaga, Florida, a real-life community known for its psychics and mediums. During the séance, Lily makes contact with the vengeful spirit of a woman who was brutally murdered. The spirit begins to torment Lily, leading her to investigate the murder and uncover a series of dark secrets within the seemingly peaceful town. As Lily delves deeper into the mystery, she becomes increasingly threatened by both the malevolent spirit and the living individuals connected to the crime.
