Burra Creek (Palerang)
Burra Creek is a locality in the Palerang Local Government Area of New South Wales, Australia. It is situated roughly 16 kilometers (10 miles) south-east of Captains Flat and 65 kilometers (40 miles) south-east of Canberra. The area is characterized by undulating terrain and is primarily rural, with land use focused on agriculture and grazing. Historically, the area was part of the Monaro region and has seen agricultural activities for many years. Its name is derived from the creek of the same name that flows through the area. The population is sparse and scattered across rural properties.
