Budrio

Budrio is a town and comune in the Metropolitan City of Bologna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. It is located approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Bologna. Budrio is known historically for the production of ocarinas, wind instruments made of terracotta. The town's economy is primarily agricultural, with some light industry. Budrio's historical landmarks include the Rocca di Budrio (Budrio Fortress), dating back to the 14th century, and several churches. The Museo dell'Ocarina is dedicated to the history and craftsmanship of the ocarina.
