Bryan Murray (actor)

Bryan Murray (born 1949) is an Irish actor best known for his long-running role as Trevor Jordache in the British soap opera Brookside.

Murray trained at the Abbey Theatre School in Dublin. His early career included stage work and television roles in Ireland before he gained wider recognition in Brookside, a role he played from 1982 until 1993. His character, Trevor Jordache, was involved in several major storylines, including one that saw him buried under the patio by his wife and daughters after domestic abuse.

Following his departure from Brookside, Murray has continued to work in television, film, and theatre. He has appeared in numerous Irish television dramas, including Fair City and The Clinic. He has also had roles in films such as The General and Angela's Ashes. His stage work includes performances in both classic and contemporary plays.
