Bruce Taylor (baseball)

Bruce Taylor is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1974 to 1982 for the Chicago Cubs, Oakland Athletics, and California Angels.

Taylor primarily pitched as a reliever. He was drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 5th round of the 1971 MLB Draft. His MLB debut was on April 9, 1974, with the Cubs. He was traded to the Oakland Athletics in 1977. Later, he was traded to the California Angels where he finished his MLB career. His career statistics include a winning percentage slightly below .500 and an ERA in the 4.00s. While not a star, Taylor was a reliable bullpen arm for several years.
