Brian Jones (basketball, born 1971)
Brian Jones (born February 9, 1971) is a former American professional basketball player. He played collegiately at Santa Clara University from 1989 to 1993, where he was a teammate of Steve Nash. Jones, a guard, was known for his scoring ability and outside shooting.
Following his college career, Jones was drafted by the Denver Nuggets in the second round (36th overall) of the 1993 NBA draft. He played one season in the NBA with the Nuggets, appearing in 27 games.
After his NBA stint, Jones played professionally overseas in various leagues, including in France and Spain. His international career spanned several years.
