Buttons (film)

Buttons is a 2018 American musical fantasy film directed by Tim Janis. The film stars Ioan Gruffudd, Jane Seymour, Roma Downey, Dick Van Dyke, and Angela Lansbury. It tells the story of two orphaned children, Emily and Henry, living in New York City during the Depression era. They believe in the power of believing and, through their acts of kindness and belief in Christmas miracles, they become involved in a mission to reignite the spirit of the city.

The film features original music and songs composed by Tim Janis, who also wrote and produced the film. Buttons explores themes of faith, hope, charity, and the importance of believing in miracles, particularly during difficult times. The film was released theatrically in December 2018.
