Bob Mitchell (Saskatchewan politician)
Bob Mitchell (born 1950) is a Canadian politician who served as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) for the constituency of Estevan in Saskatchewan from 2003 to 2011. He was a member of the Saskatchewan New Democratic Party (NDP).
Before entering provincial politics, Mitchell was a teacher and school administrator. He held various cabinet portfolios during his time as an MLA, including Minister of Energy and Resources, Minister Responsible for Saskatchewan Energy Corporation, and Minister Responsible for the Public Service Commission.
Mitchell did not seek re-election in the 2011 Saskatchewan general election. Since leaving politics, he has remained active in community affairs.
