Bob Arum
Bob Arum (born December 8, 1931) is an American boxing promoter and businessman. He is the founder and CEO of Top Rank, a professional boxing promotion company based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Arum graduated from Harvard Law School and began his career as a lawyer in the tax division of the United States Department of Justice during the Kennedy Administration. He entered the world of boxing promotion in 1966, initially working with Muhammad Ali. Over the decades, he has promoted many of boxing's biggest names, including Roberto Durán, Marvin Hagler, Sugar Ray Leonard, George Foreman, Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Jr., and Oscar De La Hoya.
Arum is considered one of the most influential figures in the history of boxing. He has been involved in some of the sport's most lucrative and memorable events. He has also been recognized for his business acumen and negotiating skills, although he has often been criticized for his sometimes abrasive and controversial style.
