Blondes (John Stewart album)
Blondes is a studio album by American singer-songwriter John Stewart, released in 1982 on the RSO Records label. It was Stewart's final album for RSO before his move to Curb Records. The album followed his successful run of late 1970s albums and aimed to maintain his commercial momentum.
Notable tracks on Blondes include "Lost Her in the Sun," and the title track, "Blondes." While the album features Stewart's signature storytelling and folk-rock influences, it did not achieve the same level of commercial success as some of his previous work, like Bombs Away Dream Babies. The album features contributions from notable musicians, contributing to its overall polished sound. Blondes is often seen as a transitional album in Stewart's discography, bridging the gap between his more mainstream period and his later independent work.
