Black triangle (UFO)

A black triangle is a type of unidentified flying object (UFO) reported to have been observed around the world, particularly from the 1980s onwards. These alleged craft are described as large, silent, triangular-shaped objects, often with rounded or blunted corners. They are typically reported to be black or very dark gray in color and are sometimes said to have bright lights at each corner or a large light in the center.

Typical descriptions include a slow, silent flight pattern, although some reports suggest the ability to accelerate quickly. The size is often estimated to be significantly larger than conventional aircraft. The lights, when observed, are generally described as pulsating, sometimes changing colors, and often illuminating the ground below.

Several explanations have been offered for the sightings, ranging from misidentification of conventional aircraft (such as stealth bombers or experimental military planes) to advanced, classified aircraft prototypes. Other explanations involve natural phenomena or psychological misperceptions. The possibility of extraterrestrial origin is also proposed by some UFO enthusiasts.

The black triangle UFO phenomenon remains controversial. There is no conclusive evidence to support the existence of such craft as unconventional technology, and many sightings are attributed to conventional explanations. However, the persistent nature of the reports, and the consistency in descriptions across different geographic locations, has fueled continued speculation and investigation within ufology.
