Billy Taylor (cricketer, born 1977)

Billy Taylor (born 13 January 1977) is a former English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler.

Taylor played primarily for Leicestershire County Cricket Club. He made his first-class debut for Leicestershire in 1996 and played for the county until 2001. After leaving Leicestershire, he played Minor Counties cricket for Bedfordshire.

His career was largely limited to Second XI and List A matches. While playing for Leicestershire, he was occasionally selected for first-class games but never established himself as a regular member of the team. His appearances were often sporadic, and he didn't achieve remarkable statistical success.

He primarily played as a bowler, aiming to exploit movement off the pitch. However, he was also a capable lower-order batsman.
