Nina King

Nina King is an American athletic administrator. She currently serves as the Vice President and Director of Athletics for Duke University, a position she assumed in May 2021. Prior to her appointment as athletic director, King held various leadership roles within the Duke Athletics Department, including Senior Deputy Director of Athletics for Administration and Legal Affairs. Her responsibilities encompassed oversight of several sports programs, legal matters, human resources, and strategic planning.

King is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and holds a law degree from Tulane University. She has been actively involved in national collegiate athletic organizations, including the NCAA. Her tenure as athletic director has focused on supporting student-athlete development, enhancing the competitive performance of Duke's athletic teams, and fostering a culture of integrity and academic excellence within the athletic department.
