Big Shots (TV series)
Big Shots is an American comedy-drama television series that aired on ABC from September 27, 2007, to January 24, 2008. The series followed the lives of four CEOs who find themselves bonding as they navigate personal and professional crises.
The show starred Michael Vartan as James Brennan, Dylan McDermott as Duncan Collinsworth, Joshua Malina as Karl Mixworthy, and Christopher Titus as Brody Johns. The ensemble cast depicted the pressures and complexities of high-powered executives dealing with divorce, relationship issues, corporate rivalries, and mid-life changes.
Big Shots was created by Jon Harmon Feldman, who also served as an executive producer. Despite its initial hype and strong cast, the series struggled in the ratings and was ultimately canceled after one season, consisting of 11 episodes. The show was known for its attempt to blend comedic and dramatic elements, focusing on the vulnerabilities and unexpected friendships that developed among the main characters. While not a critical darling, Big Shots aimed to offer a peek into the lives of powerful men beyond their corporate personas.
